MILDRED LEITCH With her children at her side, and comforted by the sacraments of the Church, Mildred passed away peacefully at the age of 85, at St. Boniface Hospital, December 12, 1999. She leaves to mourn for her, her children, Beverly (Sr. M. Michele, O.S.M.), Richard (Jacqueline), Karen Eilers (Ray), Noel Simmonds, Brian, Janice Stephenson, Terry, Tim; son-in-law Jerry Collard; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sister Betty Scott (Joe) and brother Laurence Penney; nieces and nephews. Mildred was predeceased by her husband Joseph; her daughter Marlene Collard and her grandson Roland Simmonds. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 15 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vital Roman Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy. with Rev. Dr. Patrick A. Morand presiding. Private family interment. The family would like to thank the staffs of the Victoria and St. Boniface (Ward 5A) Hospitals for their care and compassion during the long illness of their mother.
